is a NY-based experimental alt pop/art rock band featuring Madstone Rowan on lead vocals and keyboards, Zeke Bardash on guitar, Jake Messinetti on bass and Marie Dragdeline on backing vocals and operatic flourishes.
The face of Tripping Jupiter is that of Madstone (hey/they) - vocalist, keyboardist, and songwriter based in New York City who is seamlessly two parts groove, one part empowerment, plus just a spritz of glitter.
Produced by the Audible Yays production team of platinum-record producer Barb Morrison (Blondie/Franz Ferdinand) and Grammy-nominated Bart Schoudel (Lady Gaga/Selena Gomez), Tripping Jupiter’s retro-yet-modern alt-pop sound is at once accessible and new.
Their debut album Lipstick of the Brave offers 13 tracks featuring Gail Ann Dorsey - known for her work with David Bowie - on bass with award-winning videos that provide a visual accompaniment to Tripping Jupiter's unique sonic textures.
